Quantum3D Expands South American Footprint with Advanced Visual Simulation Systems Delivery to Uruguay
Award-winning MANTIS® visual simulation software and Independence® IDX 910 Image Generator hardware deliver high-resolution, high-fidelity visual environments for military aviation training.
Silicon Valley, California – October 15, 2026 — Quantum3D, a Silicon Valley-based provider of real-time visual simulation and training technologies, announces the delivery of advanced visual simulation systems to Uruguay, marking the company's entry into a new South American market and further strengthening its presence in the region.
The delivered systems feature Quantum3D’s award-winning MANTIS® real-time image generation and visual/sensor simulation software, powered by Independence® IDX 910 Image Generator hardware. Together, these technologies deliver high-resolution, high-fidelity visual environments with advanced multi-channel rendering capabilities for military aviation training applications.
The project includes an eight-channel out-the-window (OTW) visual system and two-channel electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) simulation capabilities. These systems support realistic visual environments and sensor-based training scenarios across a range of operational conditions.
In addition to the visual simulation systems, Quantum3D is developing a customized visual database for the project. The database is nearing completion and will provide detailed geographic terrain and environmental content to further enhance the realism of the training environment.
“Uruguay represents an important new market for Quantum3D and another step in strengthening our presence across South America,” said Murat Kose, CEO of Quantum3D. “We are pleased to deliver our advanced visual simulation technologies to support demanding aviation training requirements while continuing to build long-term relationships throughout the region.”
Quantum3D has an established presence in South America, including Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Chile. The addition of Uruguay further demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting the region’s evolving defense and aviation simulation requirements through advanced technology, flexible system integration, and long-term customer support.
